Link Kesha celebrates beauty and empowers women with Kesha Kumariya 2025

Link Kesha Kumariya 2025, the highly anticipated Avurudu Kumariya event hosted by Link Kesha, recently came to an end at Water’s Edge. Held for the 3rd consecutive year, the event once again proved to be a platform to empower, inspire and celebrated the multifaced beauty of Sri Lankan women.

The competition gained a significant following with over 2,000 applications being submitted in the month of March. The selection process, which involved a series of video interviews and physical auditions, narrowed the field to 25 talented contestants. These participants underwent expert-led grooming and personality development training, which culminated in the selection of the top 15.  Under the expert choreography of Arjuna Senanayake, National Director of Manhunt International and Face of Beauty International Sri Lanka, the contestants blossomed into confident young women, who were prepared to take centre stage.

The Grand Finale of Link Kesha Kumariya 2025, which was broadcast live across platforms such as Link Kesha Facebook Page and Link Natural YouTube channel, was a showcase of talent, grace and authenticity. The esteemed panel of judges included Nayana Kumari, Chulakshi Ranathunga and Sanka Dineth, was tasked with selecting winners from an incredible group of finalists. This year Winoli Wimoksha from Embilipitiya emerged as the winner of the competition, taking home crash prize of Rs.100,000. Rashini Kawindi from Galle claimed second place securing a cash price of Rs. 75,000 and Harshi Dulanjali from Kottawa secured third place with a cash price of Rs.50,000.

Additionally, two mini titles were also awarded during the event, the Best Smile award, and the Most Popular Kumariya award. The Best Smile award was sponsored by Link Sudantha, and the winner was selected by the judges. The Most Popular Kumariya award winner was selected through public votes, which added a heartwarming touch to the occasion.  The winner of the Best Smile Award was Tharusha Nipuni from Pannipitiya, and Ridmi Navanjana from Anamaduwa was voted the Most Popular Kumariya.
