DFCC Bank debenture issue oversubscribed

DFCC Bank PLC’s Rs. 12.5 billion debenture issue has been oversubscribed, with applications received for more than the 125 million debentures offered.

The issue comprised up to 125 million Basel III-compliant, Tier 2, listed, rated, unsecured, subordinated and redeemable five-year debentures, each with a par value of Rs. 100.

The bank said the issue was closed at 4.30 p.m. on 11 September 2026, in accordance with the prospectus, following the receipt of applications exceeding the 125 million debentures offered.

All applications received before the 4.30 p.m. closing time were accepted.
