Caltex Abimani scholarships strengthen female talent pipeline in STEM

Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC, in collaboration with the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute launched Caltex Abimani Women in STEM, a corporate social responsibility initiative designed to empower young Sri Lankan women pursuing education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The initiative highlights Chevronโ€™s commitment to diversity and inclusion. The program supports deserving students with scholarships, providing the tools, resources, and builds confidence to advance their technical training towards successful careers.

The launch event, held in Colombo, marked an important milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC and the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute. Both organizations continue to champion womenโ€™s participation in technical education, fostering a more inclusive, innovative, and future-ready Sri Lanka.

Caltex Abimani reflects Chevronโ€™s broader social responsibility efforts and the Ceylon German Technical Training Instituteโ€™s dedication to nurturing skilled talent. Together, they help to create meaningful opportunities for women to lead the way in shaping the nationโ€™s technological and engineering future.
