Peopleโ€™s Bank has been honoured with the Overall Gold Award at the prestigious National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) 2026, presented by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL), in recognition of its outstanding performance across all business sectors. The accolade marks one of the highest honours bestowed upon a Sri Lankan organisation for excellence in business leadership, governance, innovation, customer service and sustainable performance.

Further strengthening its remarkable achievement, Peopleโ€™s Bank also emerged as the winner in three key categories, receiving the Excellence in the Extra-Large Category, Local Market Reach, and Banking Sector awards, reaffirming its position as one of Sri Lankaโ€™s foremost financial institutions.
